Here at Ad-Me we know that you are all special and totally unique; we love that about our brilliant human race. Our individuality and little quirks makes each and every one of us truly interesting. But for those of you new to showing who you are and what your personality is, this is often a bit of a mental mind block area that we’d like to help you with.
So how do you showcase your best self? How do you get yourself seen via Ad-Me?
Well, you’ll be pleased to know it’s dead simple (have you noticed we like simple here?). Let’s take a look at our list of things to do that will help you stand out from the crowd.
- Complete your Ad-Me profile. Fill in any blanks. The more information you include, the easier you are to find in any searches
- Keep your information up to date; if you change location or have a new qualification, update your profile. Keep things fresh. New images, new info and a refreshed video will all help strengthen your profile
- Keep your ‘This is Me’ video up to date. We recommend updating them if you’re not getting much interest; if something changes or if you get some feedback that will enhance your profile. Be genuine and true to yourself in your video
- Please use an up to date and relevant photo of yourself. For those of you using dating apps you’ll know it is so frustrating when you meet the person of your dreams (based on their photo) only to find it’s an image from 10yrs ago! Keep it real. Be you. We think you’re special and beautiful. Let the world see you as you truly are
- Ask your nearest and dearest to check out your profile and give feedback on how to make any improvements
- Make sure you search companies you're interested in working with; the more active you are, the more tailored you can make your 'this is me' video and any video applications
