How do we register and get started with Ad-Me?
Registering is dead simple, just click here to watch our registration video which will show you everything you need to know. Then click on this registration link which will take you through the process. It takes minutes and you’ll be set up and ready to go.
How long should my video be?
Keep it simple, short and appealing. We suggest 60-70 seconds as a max. It’s amazing how much you can tell people about you in such a short time.
I hate my video – what should I do?
Relax, it happens to us all. This is new and all a bit strange so go easy on yourself. Very few of us really love how we look and sound on video but you are an amazing human being and your video is just about showing your personality. Why not stop now and come back to it in a few hours. That brain of yours will work subconsciously when you stop and relax and then, when you’re ready to go again, have a couple of practices without video. Then be positive and go for it! Don’t aim for perfection, as long as you score yourself a 7/10 that’s good enough!

I haven’t had any employers contact me, what should I do?
Employers focus on the best profiles so make sure you’ve completed every section of yours. Update it if you need to. A full profile gives you higher visibility to employers and will increase your chances of success. Refresh your videos and make sure they have relevant content (check out our quick tips here)
I want to work for a specific company – how do I connect with them on Ad-Me?
Start by making sure your profile is 100% complete and your ‘this is me’ video connects with the culture, values, and ethos of your chosen companies. All you then need to do is search for your desired favourite businesses, and ‘favorite’ them. This will keep you up to date with their company profile and information. Why not also send them your video? Be proactive, be seen, be you!
I have been offered my dream job on Ad-Me, do I delete my profile now?
Many congratulations! That’s great news (but we always knew you’d get it!) but don’t delete your profile yet. Most companies have a probation period which is a chance for you to be sure you love your new job and company and a chance for them to check you out. Sometimes, despite the best intentions, things don’t pan out the way you expect so wait until you’ve passed your probation period until then keep your profile up to date and stay open-minded to new opportunities.
